🐾 Our Mission
Young Paws Cat Rescue & Sanctuary is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Kerman, California, founded with one mission in mind: to give abandoned, neglected, and vulnerable cats the love and chance they deserve.
Born out of compassion and a deep love for animals, we are actively building this sanctuary in response to a critical need in our community. The Central Valley—and Kerman in particular—faces a growing population of stray and at-risk cats and kittens and Kerman has very few local resources to help them. We're here to change that.
While we’re currently caring for a small number of rescued cats in our home-based space, our vision is much bigger: a fully operational sanctuary where cats can recover, thrive, and live in safety—whether that means adoption into a loving home or a forever home with us.
